Hi
(1) I have a brandnew DELL desktop running pre-installed Windows XP and Outlook 2003 (from MS Office). For compatibility with Windows XP, PalmOne suggested I download Windesktop 401 Eng.Exe. I can Hotsyn without any problem. However, when I try to Resync (V1.7.11 beta) I first get a "initialization failed" message and then a "CDO error opening folding". Does something need to be reset in Outlook 2003 or are there compatibility issues?
(2) What does Relata do (advantages?) and how does one get a Login and Password?
Thanks.

Hi,
Regarding question 1), you will need to re-run the Office 2003 install (Dell should have supplied a CD) and select Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) for installation. CDO is available for installation under the Microsoft Outlook installation options.
Regarding question 2), Relata is an online, web-based Knowledge Worker Automation (KWA) suite. You can use it to manage your contacts, date book/agenda, accounts, and more via a Windows look-and-feel interface (web-based). Should you be away from home or visiting another office, you can quickly access (and update) your data by using a web browser, without installing any browser plug-ins. Later, at your home or office, you can synchronize the changes you made online with Palm Desktop, Windows Address Book, Microsoft Outlook, or your Palm handheld.

Avinesh

Hello,
If Office XP is already installed, click on Start | Control Panel. Once in the Control Panel, click on Add/Remove Programs. Find Office XP in the list of installed applications, select it and then click on Change.
If Office XP is not already installed, put your Office XP CD in your CD/DVD drive. Click on My Computer and then double-click on your CD/DVD drive. The Office XP setup should start.
You should be presented with a chance to Add or Remove features.
Click Next, and then select 'Choose advanced customization of applications.' Under Microsoft Office Outlook, select 'Collaboration Data Objects' and then click on 'Update'.
Regards,
Avinesh
